LYCEELA Celebrates Bastille Day

Delicious French pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat and madeleines were enjoyed by the day camp participants, staff and administration.

Similar to Independence Day in the United States, Bastille Day is the French National Day and is celebrated on July 14 every year with parades and fireworks. It is a day to remember the beginning of the French Revolution, following the storming of the Bastille in Paris, which was a fortress and prison representing French Royalty in 1789.
