Instructions and Procedures

  1. Interview between prospective Lycée parent(s) and an Admissions representative. Appointments can be made at (310) 836-3464, ext. 315.
  2. Complete, sign, and date the Registration Contract on the day of the interview and include a recent picture of your child.
  3. Submit the completed application to the Admissions Office at the Overland Main Campus by FedEx/DHL/Chronopost  (no registered mail) to:

    Along with:

    • Three Letters of Recommendation (two from teachers, one from an administrator) on school’s letterhead (recommendation letters are confidential and must be given to the parents sealed). Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles does not supply forms to be filled out. This applies to Preschool through 12th grade.
    • Official Transcripts
    • Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Immunization Record
    • $500 non-refundable Registration/Processing Fee

    Note: Child Cannot Be Considered For Admission Without These Completed Documents

  4. You will be contacted to schedule an Entrance Exam for your child (for grades K2 through 4). Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for grades 5 through 12 and parents will need to register their child directly at http://www.iseetest.org/.
  5. If and when prospective Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles parents receive a Letter of Acceptance along with the Statement of Account, tuition must be paid in full. The school will not guarantee a space for your child until after full tuition has been received
  6. Once steps 1 through 5 are completed, you will periodically receive all necessary information concerning orientation, books, materials, calendars, uniforms, and schedules.
  7. Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles uniforms are provided and sold by:
    Dennis Uniform, 250 South Flower Street, Burbank CA 91502 – Tel: (800) 473-8130. Uniforms are available for purchase throughout the year. Dennis holds two school sales on our premises during the month of August. Look for our reminder in the mail.
  8. Sports uniforms are available for purchase at the Overland Campus Bookstore.
