Le Petit Journal Submissions

Please abide by the following guidelines when submitting articles and pictures for each edition of Le Petit Journal.
Articles should reflect the children’s opinions, thoughts, ideas, work, interests, etc. not the teacher’s. Every teacher must submit at LEAST one article. Please see your Head of Campus with any questions.
Often it is tempting to write articles on a holiday such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, however, please note the entire process for Le Petit Journal takes approximately 5 weeks (excluding holidays), so the article you turn in on Christmas, which seemed timely when written mid-December, might actually be read by the Parents mid-February.
FORMATTING FOR WORK SUBMITTED TO LE PETIT JOURNAL
- All articles must be submitted in Microsoft Word 2003 either in Windows XP or Macintosh OS X format. Computers are available for your use at your Campus.
- Read and spell check each article.
- Double-check the spelling of each student's name.
- Articles in French: Make sure that all your accents are correctly marked!
- DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPITALS ANYWHERE: children’s names, titles, etc.
- Articles should have a short, appropriate title, which should also be the name of the file.
- Pictures should be in the JPEG format, be in color, be sharp and be well represented by the article.
- Submit your article via email to your Head of Campus well BEFORE the deadline for approval.
