  • If you have already completed the 1st Level of CERT Training and submitted your CERT Diploma, then we have it on file and no further action is required.
  • If you have not completed the 1st level of CERT Training, then you must contact CERT Headquarters (888) 237-8939 and arrange to attend classes and graduate as soon as possible. Free CERT classes may be made available to Employees on a Lycée campus. Arrangements would have to be made in advance for on-campus training and arrangement of such a class is at the discretion of the School.

The CERT program is an all-risk, all-hazard training. This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your students and colleagues, your family, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency situation. In the CERT training, employees learn to:

  • manage utilities and put out small fires,
  • treat the three medical killers by opening airways, controlling bleeding, and treating for shock,
  • provide basic medical aid,
  • search for and rescue victims safely,
  • organize themselves and spontaneous volunteers to be effective,
  • and collect disaster intelligence to support first responder efforts.
