Middle School Ping Pong Tournament

Posted March 16, 2012

Congratulation to John Cornet who won the Middle School Ping Pong Tournament! During the lunchtime, over the course of three weeks, 32 students fought against each other in an onslaught of superb ping pong skills. For the semi final and the final, ping-pong tables were brought to the center of the main playground area for the viewing pleasure of the final players' peers. The semi final saw Kenza Bouarroudj facing off against Max Green and John Cornet squaring off against Theodore Schellhorn. Two exhilarating games. The finalists Max Green and John Cornet met a week after for the final game. They both played extremely well, and were cheered on by all their Middle School peers. Mr. Angelini presented an engraved cup to the winner and a medal to his opponent. It was such a good experience that we have decided to do a Middle School Doubles Ping Pong Tournament and may the spoils go to the victor!
