Middle School Crêpe Cook-off

Posted March 22, 2012

To celebrate "La Journée de La Francophonie", all students proudly wore the blue, white, and red. However, the best part of the day was easily the Crêpe Cook-Off.

Each class chose three chefs from their class. Each chef brought at least 10 “plain” crêpes. At 12:15PM, students tried all the crêpes in order to select THE crêpe that will represent their class. “THE” crêpe was presented to seven judges (Student Council Board; French Guest, Mr. Tymruk & American Guest, Mr. Edwards). “THE” crêpes were judged by taste, lightness, color, consistency, shape... Judges assigned up to five points per categories.

Classes 7B and 8 A1 tied to win the Crêpe Cook-Off (they both received 141 points out of 175). However, all of the crêpes were delicious.
