Dear Lycée Families,

As many of you know, the director of our high school, Mr. Anselme, has been on extended medical leave since April. He is in good spirits, his health is improving and we expect that he will return to work sometime this fall.

In the meantime, we have been very fortunate to have Mr. Petauton, our extraordinary philosophy teacher and official Baccalaureate examiner, step in as Interim Head of the High School. He has been serving in this capacity since Mr. Anselme went on medical leave, so he is up to speed on everything going on at the high school. In addition to managing the day-to-day duties of the high school, Mr. Petauton expertly led our recent juniors and seniors through their Bac exams. (Once again, our students achieved a 100% passage rate.)

During Mr. Anselme’s absence, we encourage you to contact Mr. Petauton for any issues related to your students and the high school at (310) 836-3464, ext. 330.

If anyone you know is interesting in visiting the high school as a potential student, please have them contact Mme. Cole at (310) 836-3464, ext. 320 or cole@LyceeLA.org.

Thank you for your continued support and for the good wishes for Mr. Anselme. We will update you regularly as we enter the 2010-2011 calendar year.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Clara-Lisa Kabbaz, Esq.

President

M. Petauton: Interim Head of High School
