Middle School Student Council Election

These past 10 days, the entire Middle School has been in an election flurry! All flat surfaces are plastered with posters. You can’t even sit on benches anymore (just wait until you see the pictures!)
On Tuesday, October 2nd, all the classes were thrilled to go to the amphitheater after recess to listen to the Candidates Speeches. On October 3rd, all the candidates stood up, one at a time, in front of their 150 of their peers, teachers and faculty members to deliver speeches. It took them all a lot of courage to face their classmates. After an hour of remarkable presentations, students went back to their classes to vote. Student Council Elections are the best example of how a democracy functions for our Middle Schoolers! We would like to thank one more time all the candidates and we hope to see them at the first Student Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 23rd during lunch time.
