Community Forum and WASC Updates
Dear School Community,
As you may know, we have just completed another successful Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation cycle. We thank all our dedicated and loyal parents for their many excellent contributions. Accreditation, like learning, is an ongoing process that encourages continued school improvement and innovation. With this in mind, we are in the early stages of organizing the school Self-Study structure for the next WASC visit. Our focus group format will be improved to provide greater clarity to our school community regarding school programs while more coherently addressing WASC areas of interests. We hope to have completed the new focus group structure by the end of the year and plan to begin the focus group process in early 2013. As soon as the new focus group structure has been established, a statement and a meeting discussing the school focus group format will follow.
