At LyceeLA’s athletics program in Southern California we believe that there is more to Sports than the final score. We strive for competitive excellence, as well as personal growth - developing sportmanship, leadership, commitment, and teamwork, both on and off the field.

What sports are offered at Lycée LA?
 In middle and high school Lycée LA offers a variety of team and individual sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, fencing, tennis, beach volleyball, and table tennis. Programs may vary by grade level and season.

Who can participate in athletics?
 Athletics are available to lower, middle school and high school students. Opportunities are designed for a range of skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.

Are tryouts required to join a team?
 Some teams may require tryouts depending on the level of competition and number of participants. Other programs are open for general participation and skill-building. High school competitive sports may also require an “Athletic Medical Clearance".

How often do teams practice and compete?
 
Practice schedules and competitions vary by sport and season, typically including multiple weekly practices and games against other schools in the Los Angeles area.

What is the goal of the athletics program?
 The program focuses on developing teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship while promoting physical health and personal growth
