Middle School Read-A-Thon
Dear Middle School Parents,
The Read-A-Thon Fundraiser has become a tradition at the Middle School. Each year, the Middle School sets aside one week during the year dedicated to reading for pleasure, meeting contemporary authors and raising funds for their beloved school!
The Read-A-Thon is around the corner and will take place from Monday, February 10 through Friday, February 14.
The Read-A-Thon is a special week for our students, but it is also a main fundraiser for our school. It is a great way to help foster our students’ love of reading, academic excellence, and community spirit by joining in a common goal. Students have shared that they feel empowered by this fundraiser as they are the main actors and can give back while still learning.
This year, with the loss of an entire campus in the recent fire, our Middle School wants to raise funds to help cover the extra expenses incurred to equip new classrooms for the Pacific Palisades students.
Many of you have asked how to help, and we hope you will stand by our school and seize this opportunity to support us!
All donations are tax-deductible, and no donation is too small!
Last year, funds contributed to the purchase of a new 75-passenger bus, which has been used every week for PE and team transportation. The year prior, we equipped the art room with sets of pottery wheels and a kiln, which are used by all art classes and have enabled the creation of an after-school pottery class.

To conclude our week of reading and fundraising, we will hold a Speed Booking Chat between the students and a Celebratory “Goûter” on Friday, February 14th. If you would like to volunteer to help with the Celebratory “Goûter”, please sign up by visiting our Volunteer/Donation Post. (https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/44239372)
We hope that you are all as excited as we are about our annual Read-A-Thon fundraiser, and we count on your support and donations.
