Application Instructions and Procedures

Please see grade-specific, downloadable forms and the general online Application for New Students below. Complete, sign and submit the appropriate forms including the $200.00 non-refundable application fee. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email admissions@lyceela.org.

Applications for the 2021-2022 School Year, for grades with availability, are accepted until June 30, 2021.

Application Procedures

All enrolled students must have a US doctor complete and sign/stamp: California Immunization School Record form.

Required Immunizations

Preschool 

Preschool is for children who are, at minimum, 3 years old by Dec 31st of the enrollment year.

Once you have received the official Notice of Acceptance for your child then (and only then) will you be asked to provide additional materials to complete his/her file:

A recent photo of your child (passport size)
A copy of his/her birth certificate
A copy of his/her updated immunization record

K1

K1 is for children who are, at minimum, 4 years old by Dec 31st of the enrollment year.

* For children living outside of Los Angeles, we can arrange a Skype interview.

** For students not currently studying in French or English, fluency in one of these languages will be evaluated, please contact the Admissions Office.

For those students entering the International School Program (2nd grade through 12th grade), applicants will be required to take either :

-Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) through the ERBLearn.org website. Parents register their child directly at http://www.iseetest.org and pay the fee. In order for the Lycée to receive the results of this test you must include our ERB Membership # 054339 on the ISEE application.

-Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) Please visit www.ssat.org to register and review at-home testing information. For students who take the SSAT, there is an optional - no charge Character Snapshot. Character and personal growth are an integral part of a LyceeLA education. Grades and test scores just don’t tell us the whole story of your child. The Character Skills Snapshot gives us richer holistic information and illuminates areas where the LyceeLA can help your child grow and thrive.Once you register for an SSAT, you will have access to The Snapshot.
