Video of LyceeLA Career Day 2016
Thanks to our dedicated participants, last year's event was a tremendous success. More than 40 parents generously shared their professional experience and their time with over 200 High School students. The feedback from both our panelists and their audience being extremely positive, we feel very enthusiastic and energized for this year's event.
In preparation for this important event, our students have filled out surveys indicating which professional fields most interest them. After reviewing their choices, we are currently looking for professionals in areas including but not limited to the following:
- Business and Finance
- Medical Field and Science
- Fashion Design and Art
- Technology and Engineering
- Entertainment Industry
- Government and Law enforcement
Panelists will make a presentation about their careers to an audience of High School students (8th through 12th grades) having shown interest in this particular area. Please note that because students customize their own schedules, the size of the audience can vary from 5 to 30 students.
Each panel will last 45 minutes, 30 minutes being dedicated to the lecture and 15 minutes to Q&A with students. The presentations, when possible, should be in English.
Should you have any questions, please contact our parent volunteer Mrs. Hockley at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you very much for your interest and involvement in our school's project.
